This was the most common question asked by the local kids when I was building this collecion of standing stones that were designed to align with each other as striking markers through this popular park.

The urban myth that was built up around these was that Dr. Livingstone, born in Blantyre, was given these stones as a present from the people of Africa as a thank you for all his great work.

The messages read “ health, wealth and happiness”
